07 ES 350 Control Arm !
I am helping my daughter who has a bad bushing in the right lower control arm. The ALLDATA says you have to remove the engine and transmission assembly? I cant believe that's true!
I see some posts regarding lowering the sub-frame on the right to get enough clearance to remove the motor mount.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Sadly yes it is a very intensive job to do to replace a Front LCA on our ES350 on my 07 i was original quoted like 11 hours labor once and i went back to pick it up and luckly this was a very honest shop after i had approved the work at the quated price when i got there it was less only because
they said their mechanic was able to do it in 5 and half hours not sure exactly what it was he had to do but originally i was told the entire front end has to come out to get it replaced.

This is a double-thread, but in reply to ThumperPup ... replacing LCA's wasn't that difficult; just several little things eat up time. Took me 6 hours to replace LCA's on both sides. No special tools needed, but you should have a 2-3 foot long pry bar and a bottle jack to lift up the engine. Maybe a ball joint separator also.
