Default Sulfur smell on acceleration

Hello all,

I have experienced a strong sulfur smell (so much, it smells like burn rubber/eggs) when accelerating up to speed on the highway onramps, or from time to time on the roads with my 07 ES350.

Do I potentially have a leak in the exhaust system somewhere or a bad catalytic convertor? Is this normally experienced by anyone else?
I have tried all brands of gas (premium) and still have the same issue. The issue doesn't seem so prevalent in the cold, winter temperatures.

Thanks!

I have the same problem when I rev it over 3000 rpm. That's because you drive it slowly like me. Mine and yours need some open road and an italian tune-up.

Are you saying there is a bunch of carbon buildup in the system?

What would we need to correct it? New plugs or fuel line cleaner or ...?

You just need to drive it hard.
The smell remains the same after chemtool and Seafoam spray through the intake.

I think you have a bad cat and an exhaust leak somewhere. A bad cat can cause the smell. An exhaust leak would cause the smell to be noticeable in the cabin.
