Default Headlights hid

I currently have stock halogen headlights and I was wondering if I change my headlights to the Philips D4S Xenon HID Headlight Bulb I will need a conversion kit? Or can I just switch the halogen headlights out for the hid headlights without damaging my car? My car is an 2012 Lexus Es 350.

Get Kensun 35W or 55W HID 6000K from Amazon just like I did and you'd be fine.

If you have stock halogen lights, you won't be able to use D4S bulbs as that is a factory HID bulb. You would need an HID conversion kit to convert the lights from halogen to HID. A 2012 ES350 with halogen bulbs uses an H11 bulb. I'd recommend our H11 XenonDepot Xtreme HID kit. The 4300K color temperature would be the brightest and equivalent to OEM color HID's.

I did the kit on my wife's es350 could not be happier. No issues and install was less than an hour.

Check your original if you have spacers in the old bulbs.

ours is a 2007, I'm very happy with the kit you sold me. So far no issues and it makes a hella of a difference between stock halogen.

I mainly had two small complaints.

The spacers should be included in the kit if needed. They are like $5 off amazon. This delayed the install a few days, no big deal.
The connectors to the factory wiring harness should have some type of rubber boot, Electrical tape was used in it's place.

@alexulan - Thank you for the feedback.

The 2007 ES uses H7 bulbs for the low beams, whereas the 2012 referenced above use H11 bulbs (which do not require an adaptor). Just want to make sure that there is no confusion.

Do you have the light box over the beam?
