USB Flash Drive in 2012 ES350
So I just purchased a 2012 CPO ES350 on Friday and love the car. This is my 2nd Lexus as I owned a GS300 years ago. I am involved in the music business and couldn't wait to load up a USB flash drive with music. To my surprise this did not work by just dragging MP3s over to the drive the way it does in my wives Acura. I searched the forums and read through all threads I could find. It was formatted properly and I still couldn't get it to work. I am using a MAC and thought that may be that was the problem being I tried everything I read with no luck. The last thing I tried was the FIX. I tried dragging the MP3s from iTunes instead of my desktop or other folders and that did the trick. I did have a few mixes that were downloaded from soundcloud that would not play. I got them from iTunes Podcast and now they work perfect. I'm not sure if this info is somewhere in the forums but thought I would share just in case it wasn't.

That's odd. I have a 2010 and was able to drag/drop files over to a usb flash drive from my file browser and it works with no issues.
I have it structured with folders by artist, and one file for songs I like to play most often.
I browse by folder to pick what I want to play.
When one folder is done, it auto advances to the next folder.
My PC is windows.
