^Hahahaha that was brutal!
They're essentially the same throughout all the models.
4 screws hold the side mirror body together and the mirror is held in by metal clips and a plastic hinge at the top.

Breaking the mirror glass was always my biggest worry when I installed my LED turn signal covers. But I lucked out.

Im guessing you were having trouble getting it back on, got frustrated and then tried to brute force it? Those mirrors are pretty sturdy... You just have to be patient, keep your hand spread out and sort of massage the mirror back on with a circular wrist action. I always put quite some force into it and have never broken a mirror. Done it on 5+ cars now.
Sorry to hear it didn't go so well for you...

I had to do it a couple of times with more force. Be careful because you may think that it's on securely, and then a day later it "pops" off!
