I just got a letter and a check for $187 from "Toyota Economic Loss Settlement Administrator c/o Gilardi &Co. LLC". It says it is from the Unintended Acceleration Liability Litigation. Has anyone else received this letter and check or is this a scam. It looks legit but Just trying to verify if this isn't some game to get me to deposit it in my account. Thanks

I got a check over a year ago for $400+. It was legit. Also from the class action suit.

I got a check like this about 1.5 weeks ago. I didn't even file any type of paperwork for it as I didn't have any
related issues with the vehicle. Appears I was "guilty by association" just by owning one of the affected vehicles.
My check was only for like $48 dollars. I read up on it and it seemed legit, so I cashed it as well.

I agree that my first thought as well was that it was a scam of some kind until I investigated it further.

It's odd that they are all different amounts. I wonder if it has to do with 1st owner, 2nd owner, year, mileage status of the cars.

I'm just curious.

I sold my 2007 ES350 (traded for a 2010) when Toyota/Lexus was still all over the news. I think the timing played a part in the amount of the check.

I've owned my 2007 since buying it new July 2006. This is the first time I've heard of checks to ES350 owners. Obviously, no money for me so far.

does anyone know what action this is from ?
could it be form the sticky dash issue or perhaps its for that gas pedal issue they where having ?

i know i filed some paperwork with a laywer in miami that is one of the ones trying to get a class action against lexus toyota for the dash board issues

damn it.... I THROW any letter from toyota or any thing which looks like some car upgrade or financing.. thanks for the heads up . .so far no letter but will keep eye and so should all of us
