Tires balanced but the sterring still shakes at 75MPH.

Glad to hear you got the shaking issue resolved. Maybe it was a combo of the magic balancers and the guy who did the job. It's good to know that it can be done.

Similar problem with 08 ES350. My problem was definitely brake related as any tapping of the brake at >75 mph would result in shudder, moderate to severe. Problem first showed up around 30K miles and I replaced front rotors and pads at 54K, smooth as silk now.
Side note, at 54K (mostly highway) OEM pads were only about 50% worn. I put in new Akebono pads anyway.

These cars are very hard to balance properly. Something about the suspension geometry I suppose, but well balanced high quality tires are really vital to getting them to ride the way they are supposed to ride. Was true on the LS, ES and now on the GS I had a slight shimmy and a road force balance at the dealer fixed it up.
Doesn't have to be the dealer, but it has to be a road force balance IMHO.
