My new tires will not balance!
I had a balancing problem with some tires I bought with the car. At about 80 they shook and hard enough to not want to drive at that speed. I replaced them with Falken tires and it was sooooooo much better, but......
At 75-82 mph I still have a shake in the steering wheel. I bought the tires from Discount and they claim the rim is bent and they cannot completely balance the tire. I am going back once more to get a definitive response.
I am at a loss at what to do next. My other Lexus was smooth at any speed, even at 90. Smooth.
Any suggestions?

Looks nice. I notice the rims are chromed. Did you chrome your original wheels or buy them and trade in your originals? There are places that fix bent wheels that even come to you in a truck and fix them right then and there.

Bought them that way
I believe this is an option with the 2007s.
I am going back to Discount to see which one is bent. I bought the car from Carmax and the car fax claims there was no know accidents. I am wondering if there is more to this.
Hopefully I can get this resolved and start driving 90 again. (actually I like 80 and no more. but it should be smooth)

How about rotate the tires? That should show it's an issue with one of the front rims if the steering wheel is shaking. If the shaking remains in the front after a rotate, it is something else.

That still does not solve your problem. If a wheel is diagnosed as bent, put the "spare" on and see if that solves it. many places on e-bay motors to buy a chromed Lexus wheel to match (if you so choose).

What kind of tires are they? One of the tires could be out of round...

I had to have the dealer force balance my Michelins, now they are perfect. Discounts' balancing machines would/could not balance them correctly after three tries, shook over 65 mph.
