Default Problem with aftermarket nav head ( 2011 ES350 )

Hi guys, this may be a tough one, but I'm hoping someone can help, or point me in a direction anyway.

The place where I bought the car isn't a dealership, and doesn't seem to be interested in helping me out at this point. (check was cashed weeks ago, I own the car now...). So, I may end up asking the local Lexus dealership, but I thought I'd try it here first.

I recently picked up an ES350 that had navigation. Turns out it is an aftermarket nav head. It's not as good as the Lexus OEM installed head, but I can live with most of the limitations except one. Things it can't do include: no nav voice volume control, no steering wheel answer, no voice activated anything (hey, there may be others...). The one thing I do have a problem with is that the fan controls are messed up.

When the fan display for foot exhaust only is highlighted, what is actually happening is dashboard only.
When the dashboard only is highlighted, what is actually happening is both foot exhaust and dashboard.
When the exhaust and dashboard is highlighted, what is actually happening is both foot exhaust and heated dashboard.
The last one, both foot exhaust and heated dashboard, is never high lighted.

I really would like to have foot exhaust only ability available.

Note that I do have my Lexus manual, but nothing regading this nav head.
Anybody have any insight?

Thanks in advance for even reading this!

Sounds like a glitch in the programming of the unit from the factory. They usually just plug in and play to the factory harnesses. Suggest going to a custom automotive sound shop and see if they have experience with the manufacturer of the head unit and / or it's installation in a Lexus.
