K&N Air Filter?
Hi guys, I am thinking to replace my 08 ES350 stock air filter to the K&N Air Filter, has anyone done it before? Any different? Where is the air filter locate it? Thanks

I did on my '07 ES350. The only benefit is that you don't have to replace the filter. It's supposed to last 50K miles and then you simply clean it with the K&N recharge kit. I cleaned mine at 25K miles just to be safe since it took me three years to get there.
It's very easy to replace, just snap off the plastic moldings on the drivers side of the car, you'll see the air box, there are three clips holding it's cover on, I was able to pull out the old and put in the new with out completely removing the cover, just slipped out and in the filter through a ~2" gap. Should take 20 minutes.
I just wish there was a cold air intake available like on the IS350.

The covers are just snapped in. The only problem I had was some of the snaps got stuck in on themselves and it took me a while how to figure out how to unsnap them when that happens. If it happens to you just use a pair of needle nose to twist the tip while holding the plastic outer part with two fingers.

I saw a test somewhere. Regular filters have pressure drop of ~0.25 psi, K&N ~0.15 psi.
That's negligible, you get much bigger difference between new filter and a dirty one.
Just make sure that you change the air filter regularly - once a year, or 10-15kmi.
