Default Tires on new ES350

My new ES350 came with Michelin Energy MXV4 S8 Treadwear 440, Traction A, and Temperature A

Are these good tires? I am going to be taking a long road trip (by myself) and want to make sure these have been good/acceptable to members. I have 210 miles on my car and would trade tires if there have been issues.

Thanks very much Dorothy

Problems with those tires ? Not really..... they are quiet & smooth especially as yours are brand new.

I had them new on my 07 Es350 & the only issue is don't expect to get alot of miles out of them. Even with regular rotations (every 5k), by the time I reached 24k miles they were down to 4/32 . Due to the winters here, I figured that's all I'm going to get out of them safely.

No reason to change them now. Just start saving your money for new tires early.

With 210 miles on the Michelins you're fine. Don't worry about them. I traded in my ES with the Michelin OEMs, and with 4 years and over 30k miles they had a lot of life left. My current ES has the Bridgestones and they're fine too. Enjoy the car and the trip.

They are good, but just don't expect long life. 20-30k miles max life.

I have 32K miles on my MXV4's and they are holding up reasonably well. Treadwear could be better though. I'm hoping to get at least another 15k miles out of these. I just might try the Michelin Primacy's net time around.

The MXVR Energy tires are a good OEM tire but I never get much mileage out of them. I certainly wouldn't replace them on a new car but later you might want Michelin Primacy MXVR's. Less expensive and much better wearing.

Enjoy you new car and the upcomming trip.

I got Bridgestone Turanzas and feel ripped off right now...will get the Primacy when it's time.

I'm not too much of a fan with these turanzas. They seem to be a little noisy at low speeds but don't really get any louder at higher speeds and seems petty quiet at higher speeds. They seem to be smooth. It's just the low speed noise
