Default reset oil maint light

I did a search and found several examples but still could not get it to reset, also could not find it in the manual

can someone tell me how to do it or tell me what page of the manual it is on?

07 es350
I called the dealer and they said it was hard to explain over the phone then I got transferred to a mechanic and he essentially blamed me for not bringing it in to the dealer to have the oil changed. pretty bad
this should not be so hard to do it should just be reset via the navigation not via the odometer then start and hold a button down etc...

thanks for any help

I have a 08, and according to the manual. It says"after the engine oil is changed(and the oil maintenance data has been reset.)
I can not reset the warning message either by change the data or reset the maintenance record.

Here is the procedure. I don't believe you need a degree to perform this function.

To reset the oil change system, follow the procedure below:
1. Turn the “ENGINE START STOP” switch OFF with the trip meter A reading
shown. (→P. 124)
2. While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the “ENGINE START STOP”
switch to the IGNITION ON mode. Continue to press and hold the button until
the trip meter displays 000000.

It takes a few times but it eventually goes to the reset position. Another weird Lexus way to mystify an update that is just a simple button push on other cars.

Default also works for the LS600

Have been trying to reset my 2008 LS600 light and this method worked! only difference was that trip A did not reset to 000. Instead I held the reset button while display indicated "resetting oil maintenance" and reset it when that message said completed. Trip A did not loose it's mileage reading
