Indeed the facelift makes it slightly better.
However, in markets where the Asian Camry is sold, this car is considered as redundant. In short, in those said markets, the ES is just a glorified Asian Camry.......

If you are concerned about saving some dollars, please wait a while before considering the refreshed 2010. When models are redone and are fresh on the lot, they sell at high prices. Wait a little and prices will drop in a few weeks. Right now, the only thing going through your saleperson's mind is dollar signs.

For an idea of what your car goes for, go to Autotrader.com and punch in your zip code, model, and year. See what comes up and figure a few thousand less for the actual transaction price.

My AZ dealer received a load of new ES 350's today and I spent some time looking them over. All had NAV and Parking Assist for just over $40K even though as has been mentioned the pricing structure has changed. Also all had the light interior - I want to see the black with the new wood trim. The wheels look okay as does the chrome side moulding but the fog lights are not attractive in my opinion. The new satin cashmere (sp?) color is nice too as are the turn signals in the mirrors. All in all a nice mid-term change except for the fog lights.
My lease runs out in a couple of months so I've been looking forward to seeing these new models.

Thanks for the report. I'm anxious to see the refresh, especially the fog lights. Was hoping they'd look better in person. In the pictures they look poorly integrated to me. Might have to go to the dealership tomorrow to see if any new models have made their way east.

Here's a rear picture of a 2010 ES 350 taken today at the Irwindale Club Lexus meet.
