I have an '08 ES350 with NAV and when I'm in the map screen, sometimes when I press the phone button on the steering wheel (the one with the phone off the hook) it goes to the speed dial screen, sometimes the NAV display goes to the address book screen and sometimes it goes to the phone number screen. I'd like it to default to go to the address book so it's easier to do a dial by name, but I haven't figured out how to make it do this. Anyone have any thoughts?

 

If the car is moving, you'll get the speed dial screen. If the car is stopped, you'll get the phone book screen. This cannot be changed.

 

Although sometimes I do get the phone book screen, many times I don't get the phone book screen, but instead get the "dial number" screen. Is there a reason for this?
