Received in the mail the Lexus $100 invitation to test drive the ES350 (even though we own one already). I registered online and went to my local dealer. I asked him if he wanted to test ride my car (with engine knock and new transmission). He gave me the five digit code right away (as there were others in the showroom with the same card) and off I went. The $100 - choice of Neiman Marcus gift card or $100 credit for golf). Will be in my mailbox within 4-6 weeks.

 

This is a sign that the ES350s probably are not "flying out the dealer's doors." They need a little sales incentive. I wish I'd get one!

LOL, I hope I get one too. Maybe you can buy a pair of designer ear plugs so you won't hear the engine knock.

 

Well, they might have a closeout at the King of Prussia, PA mall later this year. $100 discount on a shirt is better than the five finger kind!

 

I wish I'd get one too. I wonder if they target owners of competitive models?
BTW, according to the June "07 Sales Thread, Jan-June sales of the ES were 40,398 +22%, on target for 80K this year. Not too shabby, except for seeing more of them on the road.

I'd guess more than 1, but less than 40,398.

 

The dealer we purchased our ES from said that the ES is the fastest moving vehicle they offer.
I just wish the $100 offer was for some of the Lexus detailing products or something useful.
