Rust Protection
I'll receive my new ES350 Ultra end of april. The dealer offered an Electronic Rust Protection System.
I wonder if this device is any good for the great Canadian winter!
Does it really works? Anyone out there has such device installed?

I would advise against any aftermarket rustproofing. New cars have a lot of plastic and aluminium so it's not needed for those parts. The rest of the car (frame, doors, panels etc.) is treated to resist rust before manufacturing and should last for the life of the car. No doubt it's very lucrative for the dealership though. I live in the midwest where they use a lot of road salt, and haven't had a problem with rust on any car since my old VW Super Beetle, which by the way had Ziebart (a name from the past). Good luck with the new car.
