Panoramic Roof
Hi everyone.....
For those of you who have the panoramic roof do you love it? I am in the process of deciding what I want as far as option packages and admit I am not sure I like the panoramic roof because of the way it opens. I like moonroofs. But I must have the ML/Nav package so it looks like I do not have a choice. My dealer does not have any UL's in stock so I can't even see the roof in person (frustrating). Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Please get the panoramic roof if possible......you'll love it. I know I do. It gives the inside of the car an open, airy feeling, especially when the front and back inside shades are opened. The people that I haved showed this option to are totally impressed also. I'm sure you'll thank me for my advice.
I was going to go with the Prem Plus. Dealer did not have my color in stock. They did have my color in stock in UL on the showroom floor. It was a little more money than I wanted to spend, but I am sure glad I did. The roof, ML sound, wheels, leather upgrade...it is well worth it. I love the car.
I bought the UL car because of the Nav, ML, backup camera, nicer leather, 10-spoke wheels, etc. To be honest, the panoramic roof is fine but I don't feel strongly about it either way. However, the other features of the UL car are extremely nice and are well worth spending the extra money.
I sat and played with the roof at the dealership during their preview event before the ES350 was released and they had the UL model on display. For me, the all glass top look made the car look a little 'cheesy' but in terms of feature, it was nice to have that abundance of light in the car, when needed. It has to be this way because of the rear glass, but the front sunroof portion now has to tilt up and back, rather than go into the roof, which I think looks very old style'ish.
It all comes down to personal preference, nothing more.

They should have made it two pieces of glass that are split @ the center length wise and both sides retract when you want to open it so it looks like puff daddy's house's roof open up. That would be gANGsta!! ^_^
