i got just the premium cause im poor. what did you guys get?

 

PP for me. Wanted UL but couldn't afford the extra 2000++ or so. Regretted not getting ML but well, I dont see a need to watch DVD on the road. Even if I am on a road trip, I will rent a car/suv.

aww..am i the only one who got just the basic premium package? i feel inferior

 

i dont think there is basic premium available here.... you either go with Premium Plus, PP+ w/ Nav, or UL. I was only given 3 choices. Of course if you take the PP+ variety, you have the option of taking HID or not. For UL, you have option of parking assist or not.

 

hmm...i was told by my dealer that the main differences between premium and premium plus was that premium plus comes with nav and HID/AFS lights, while premium does not. thats what it says on the lexus website too.

 

I had 2 choices premium & premium plus. My dealer ( 2 locations ) had 23 cars in his 1st shipment, 2 ruby's my only choice. Both ruby's were the base premium package that they offer here, 1 with cashmere and the other with the grey interior. The base package here is the O/S Mirrors, Driver's Seat & Steering Wheel Memory & Leather Seat Trim, full size spare, bluetooth, leather-wrapped steering wheel, rear side airbags & wheel-locks. The premium+ added the Power Driver's Seat Cushion Extender, Heated & Ventilated Front Seats & Rain-Sensing W/S Wipers. They had 1 of those in ruby coming 6-8 weeks after in the 2nd shipment and being that I would've been carless, I gladly took the cashmere. I probably would've taken the plus if it had been available, but up too 2 months wait sounded unbearable. The UL isn't being offered here since we don't have NAV & so far they aren't configured w/o. But if they did & they had 1, then I would've bought that 1... Now I have to wait 3 yrs til my wife will let me get her a new car, maybe the IS coupe that will be out by then...

Couldn,t justify the extra cost for the ML. I'm not an audiophile.

 

I really wanted the ML system but the wife did not want the large glass roof and we were told they went hand and hand in the UL package.

The same here, only 3 packages were available, not even a basic premium. Also, depending on a color, Premium Plus came with additional options/accessories. That is what I got w/o NAV.

Same here, so I got the Premium Plus with Nav and most other options. I'm amazed at the number of ULs purchased by members here. They are as scarce as hen's teeth on the east coast.
