Is there a link anywhere to a printed list of the ES 350's accepted commands? Can't seem to find it in the manual...thanks

I received a Quick Start guide with my manuals. Toward the very back there was a list of commands associated with each mode. Not sure if this is available on line.

This is much easier. Just print them out and leave the manual in your car. Voice recognition commands for the 2007 Lexus ES 350 for Navigation, Phone, and climate control can be found here:

Perfect. I still haven't figured that one out. This works much better.

Thanks Jeff and amf; my Quick Guide doesn't have such a list , only a table of Customizatiion Options/Defaults for Personal Preferences; your list is just what I was looking for...

There are 2 quick guides. One is for the basic car and has the picture of the ES350 on the cover. The other quick guide is for Bluetooth, Phone and Navigation System. This is the guide with the voice commands on page 26.

Thanks for the clarification on the quick guide. I should have been more specific.

Ingram, didn't come across the other quick guide; my time with this new car is this week-end(after all, it is used primarily by significant other, and she deserves it !); will carefully go over documentation as the lady is reluctant to read these things..thanks for your replies...

Sounds just like my wife. This is her first quality car and she loves it, but she has not touched the binder of manuals or the interactive CD-ROM

Default The quicklist of commands is incomplete...

so if you invoke "help" after the beep you will find an on screen list and scroll bar. There are commands from the older system that still work too but aren't listed anymore. Lexus used to publish a list in the Nav manual but it could change with each new DVD edition.

Default no recognition

thanks rockville for the tip; I actually stumbled onto that but found it pretty much unresponsive; having trouble with the system recognizing number commands; believe someone on the
edmunds board posted that there is supposed to be a 'fix" coming...seems like Lexus released a 'buggy" versiion.....

If you are speaking of the climate control, command that is true. This was discussed here also. There is a fix coming, but my dealer said they did not know when. Lexus customer service was unaware of the problem. Were there any other commands that did not work for you?

I haven't taken the time to look for other commands, but does anyone have them? Please feel free to post and I'll update my list/site accordingingly. I'm traveling so I don't have access to my car for a couple weeks.

One undocumented command , of course, is "I'm hungry" and the NAV responds "Showing nearby restaurant icons".
