I have an 08 ES350 that I am having mild vibration (not in the steering wheel) only under acceleration and only between 1200-180 RPM. I can begin acceleration going up hill with no vibration which leads me to think that there is any issues with the interior CV joints. I have none of the issues associated with the external CV joints as well. I had a ripped boot on my original right side CV axle and replaced it with a Toyota OEM axle that showed as interchangeable. All of the dimensions were the same. I don't remember if the original Lexus CV axle had a damper between the inner and out joints but, the Toyota axle does. Could this cause vibrations between 1200 and 1800 rpm under load? Thanks in advance for thoughts.
It is 158K(ish). I have replaced the center electronically controller mount and checked the passenger side mount, both were in very good shape. I have yet to pull the transmission mount but, will for good measure. It feels like the shimmy you get when the inner CV joint is going bad but, mine aren't so, I'm left a bit confused. I have an 07 Camry V6, whose drive train is identical, and went through the CV axle stuff years ago. The strange thing about this one is you can take off going up hill with no vibration and then later under very litter acceleration I get vibration until you back off the gas. Thanks for any thoughts.
I am having a similar problem with my 2009 Es350 162K miles. I get start getting vibrations at around 70 mph and then as I ease off the gas and again press it, it goes away. I also get vibrations at 40-45 mph and when going up inclines. Also, the moment I go on cruise control at 70 mph, after a while I get strong vibrations. Moment I switch the cruise off, the vibration goes away. Conclusion I am coming to is that when I keep the speed steady for a certain time the vibration and shaking starts. Moment I start varying the speed, it goes away. I thought maybe the struts are going bad, so I got all four replaced and the problem is still there. Any advice would be great…
My issues started at 40k with vibration after 800 mile trip in rain. Motor mounts!!

I needed cv axles and motor mounts replaced by 60k miles. At 140k and car has had so much work done since beginning I think I got a lemon. Not reliable after one long road trip and expensive to fix.
