I have a neighbor who has purchased a 2007 ES350. The interior lights will not turn off. These lights are not the reading lights but instead they are small secondary lights located in the center of the headliner; two in the front seats area and two in the rear seat area. The lights stay on no matter if the car is locked or not. I have no advice to offer him as I have never owned an ES bodystyle Lexus. Can any of you offer advice? Many thanks.

 

Check the overhead console switches labeled DOOR and ON * OFF. The DOOR switch needs to be pressed in (locked position) and ON/OFF needs to be unpressed (unlocked position).
