The reverse lights on my 2001 ES don't show at all when in reverse. The brake lights show and the running lights do as well. The reverse bulbs aren't burnt out and neither are any fuses. My last guess is a pinched cable, but if anyone knows something else it might be please let me know.

 

Check the wires left side hinge where they bend. Other possible causes are dirty neutral safety switch (front of transmission) and the lamp out warning box.
