Remote Starter Question

Hi,
I just want to say thank you for all your answers, I really appreciate it. I just installed a remote starter for my 2010 Lexus ES 350, after I turned on my car I opened the door the engine turned off. I have to turned on the engine again once I'm inside, is this normal? Or is it the way the remote starter function or how the person installed it?

“Normal”. That’s the way it works on these Lexuses and I don’t know why.

I recently made the same upgrade to my ES (2010) and the stability control light stays illuminated.

Any idea on how to get the light to turn off? I've tried pressing (long press) the traction control button but that has not made a difference with the issue I am experiencing.

Please see the picture for an image of what I am describing.

I would check if they somehow forogot to connect the plug on the TRC button.

Thanks for the info.

I called the dealer back and cancelled the remote starter.

I booked an install at my local audio shop.

Viper 2 way long range starter...$500 installed.
