Exclamation Dead battery issue possibly all models

First post here long time reader, thought I'd share my issue to possibly help others. I bought a 2018 es 350 and within the first 4 days the battery died twice and had to be jumped. The dealership replaced the battery and gave it right back. it died again next day with a brand new battery. I returned it and demanded further diagnosis. The results were a key fob module causing parasitic drain and the second was the glass breakage sensor. The sensor for the glass was installed after factory. Both were staying alive and not going to sleep when the car was shut. I read many had battery issues all across lexus models even 2021 models. The batteries are not a bad batch with bad cells. it is the parasitic drain destroying the battery cell slow. The records of service indicated the battery was replaced just 1 month before when certified. I would recommend not just changing a battery and notifying the dealer to check internal lexus bulletin for cars computer and do a drain test. Not too sure what years and models this affected but I had read many with similar issues to 2012 to the present. I have gone several weeks now without the issue again. I also read those who did the same procedure have not had the return of it either. hope this helps someone out there.

My 2014 had the "Gateway Computer" battery drain issue (and service bulletin). Recall/replace, all has been fine since. FYI.

After spending a week on the forum I had seen many mention the gateway module as well. When I brought it back I mentioned to check that. While doing so they ended up finding the other two. It seems like lexus installed a bad batch of ECU'S.
