Default Battery Voltage

I am replacing the battery in my 2015 RC F.
In monitoring the voltage, today it was 11.88 after the car had been sitting for 5 days in my 40 degree garage. I checked The voltag a few minutes later and the meter read 12.22.
This rise in the voltage reading is not unusual in my experience with this car, although in my other vehicles the voltage reading is constant from when I first check it to when I may check it 15 or so minutes later.
Either way I plan to replace the battery, but I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and/or if anyone can explain what is going on with the rise in readings as explained above.
Thank you.

what year?

my 2015 had a defective battery, it died multiple times in the first year of ownership (from just sitting over the weekend 1-2 days) and was replaced under warranty. same issue in the second year and again replaced. the last 14 months of ownership (third battery) before I sold the RCF the battery was fine. I have read here that other Lexus models have had similar defective batteries between 2013 and 2016

Was that with the car running? Running should be 13.8 to 14.2. Sitting, your readings aren't bad. There will be some draw from the clock and anything else that has memory. Just have the battery load tested.... I don't believe it's bad.

Actually Lexus cars run at 13.3 vdc once the engine is up to temperature.
