Default Mark Levinson System.

I have a 2013 ES 350 Ultra Luxury has anyone had any of this situation happen?

Between my RX 350 & my 2013 ES 350 UL the Mark Levinson system cuts out/in mostly on hot days and with am/fm/xm radios. I've read in some forums in Club Lexus that it could be the amp.

Has anyone else experienced any of these situations?

Unlikely its an identical problem with both cars, have you got any device attached, or aftermarket mods? There is a radio reset procedure, search this forum for that.

It is definitely the same for both, the only thing that I have in both vehicles is aux, and usb cords. No aftermarket items, but I do use bluetooth in both, an that has its own issues like it disconnects the phones every now and then.

All of those are cut outs on Antenna airwaves on 2 cars? Could it be a dead zone in your area for airwave signal Transmission?

It is not only in my area, it happens when the car is warmed up on road trips, and casual drives(both winter and summer) if heat is on, or a/c is off. The radio chips out for minutes at a time, comes back on, but countinues to do so until the vehicles are cooled down. It hasn't seemed to happen if running music through bluetooth, or aux.

8 year old cars can have quirks and it seems your radio has them. As you've described seems to indicate something is "shorting out". I think you're doing what you can before you spend $$. We all would. An independent car stereo shop might be able familiar with this malady and could give you advice. Probably for free. Who knows what the new car dealer might charge or if it can be fixed without replacing the entire unit?
