Default Jack stand points

Hello I have a 2009 Lexus ES350 and I am trying to put the car on 4 jack stands, but I don't want to put them on the pinch welds because they will bend (don't ask me how I know). I know where the jacking points are but I want the car suspended on 4 jack stands because I want to change the transmission fluid. Any pictures for the location of the points would be nice

Look for the frame rails under the vehicle. It should be the same as the Camry. https://www.toyotanation.com/threads...cement.201376/
Having said that I never had any issues with the pinch welds bending, although I have seen them bent on other cars. I made small blocks of oak with a notch cut into them to fit over the pinch weld that I place on my jack stands. There are rubber ones you can buy that fit over jack stands to fit on the pinch weld.

An excellent tool for lifting the vehicle from pinch weld using a floor jack:

Amazon Amazon

Obviously this is not meant for jack stands, but it will allow you to lift the vehicle while allowing some support for the pinch weld.

I actually ended up buying those rubber attachments that you put on the jack stands so I can put the car on the pinch welds now without damaging them

I like to put my front jack stands under the front subframe where the lower control arm bolts to the frame under the CV axles. The rear jack stands go on the pinch welds.
I find this method easier and faster than lining up the front pinch welds, especially when you're working alone.

The pinch welds are strong in these cars. Not like old US cars from the 80 and 90's. The other spot you can grab on to is the subframe in front (the one that traverses the car front to back), and where the rear control arm is connected - the front portion has a nice flat surface.

Update: the rubber attachments don't fit on my jack stands. I can't believe that I can't do something as basic as lifting a mass produced vehicle off the ground safely, yet alone not being able to find useful information on how to perform such a simple task on this vehicle after WEEKS of research. It's basically spend big money or I am screwed. I think I should just walk from now on

Jack stands should by law be uniform so attachments, like the rubber, pinch-weld attachments, fit all models. I bought 4 of these attachments and they only fit one pair of my four jack stands (two different brands). For the stands that won't accept the attachments, I use them on sub-frame rails or transaxles, and save the other two for pinch-weld points.

In the future, I could see jack stand manufacturers including the pinch-weld attachments in the box with the jack stands, as a marketing strategy. Then consumers wouldn't need to worry if an attachment bought separately would fit.
