Default Trunk alignment question

my father purchased 2009 es350 and it seems that the trunk is misaligned. I tried everything and I can't seem to align the trunk. Can anyone help?

thank you. I have to try to swapping out the centering bolt to standard bolt. I never had an issue like this where right (passenger) side sits higher v. the driver side when closed. I thought the car was involved in an accident but there are no signs of any tamper, accidents, or body/ frame pull.
