Default Warning lights- panic

Hey guys

so when I press the start button twice without pressing on brake pedal to enter ignition ON mode, i notice few warning lights that come on in instrument cluster. Owner Manual says these light should go away after a while but my warning lights stay on. Is something wrong? Is my car malfunctioning ?

Ignition is not on, hence the reason for those lights. Start the car and it will go away after about 1.5 seconds. If there is anything majorly worng with the car, you will see a written warning message on the display between gauges.

yes when the engine is turned on the lights go away.

The “ignition On” is when you press start button twice without pressing brake and it allows you to run fan and audio without starting engine and Owner Manual says in this mode the lights should go away too....

You are right my bad on the "Ignition On" phrase; what I mean is start the engine. if the lights do go off when the engine is running, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I never even pay attention unless the engine is running.

The lights stay on. This is normal in ALL cars in "ignition on, engine not running" state. Initially the purpose was "bulb check" - which is less needed nowadays with transition to LEDs.
