I'm guessing those are Fel-Pro if so green is probably intake. No instructions came with? I would verify with the manufacturer instead of guessing.

Repair manual says light brown is intake
And gray for exhaust

Service manual is talking about OEM parts I don't know what those are. Usually the darker colour is exhaust. If it was me I'd buy OEM parts to be sure especially since I've had bad experiences with the so called Viton seals from Fel-Pro and other suppliers.

The car has 200,000 miles and a blown head gasket.
Even warpage was bad so discoloration was heavy and dark
With thick carbon .....even after cleaning the determining color was
Difficult .
My sequence of disassembly was accurate and labeled concisely, so after
Puting them under magnifying glass, I did notice that the intake stems have
And extra groove , so this helped me in determining my final calculation
The green turned out to be intake. You were correct

My conclusion to all this .......
Why would and OEM part be labeled Brown for intake?
I find this horribly inaccurate.
OEM lists brown for intake grey for exhaust

It's like making a yellow light purple ya know?

Thanks

For OEM valve seals either grey or black has always been exhaust easy to remember because exhaust=carbon=grey or black.
