Default Re-plating gold emblems

Got the Brake problem worked out. Got rid of my mechanic and found the prob myself....a split rubber brake hose....Now why couldn't he have found it?
Now, have any of you had emblems re-plated? My Es-300 is white with Gold Package. Hood and trunk emblems are worn and looks tacky on an otherwise, beautiful machine.
Thanks,
Valley

the emblems are no more than $40something dollars each. the only problem w/ replacing them outright, and replating them, is that when you take 'em off, the gooey adhesive is a pain in the butt to scrape off. it will probably be better to just replace them, since there's a good chance the emblems will break in the process of attempting to take the old ones off.
