how fast have yall ever gone in ur es300s?? ive maxed out at 140 on i-10...just wonderin bout all of you

 

i wouldnt be surprised if one of the moderators said "this topic has been discussed before, please use search button." anyways 140mph is pretty damn fast although top speeds cease to be impressing (from a performance standpoint). My cousin's Nissan Altima v6 is limited to 124mph yet it accelerates so damn quick it's intoxicating! i would find no pleasure racing such a car at speeds above 124 to win nor would i even try. its especially dangerous when people are cutting each other off at those kind of speeds and one brakes faster than the other. even when you're by yourself, sh$t happens like getting a flat, hitting a cow... whatever. i hate to bust your ***** hoebag but hey... for having the ***** to do 140!

 

My speedo has read 140 a few times, but i doubt ill be doing that much often anymore -- just isnt safe. Once upon a time on the old clublexus site, I posted a video of me doing 140mph, but unfortunately i dont have it on this computer anymore. If anyone happens to have that please post it!

Here's the thread where i posted a 140mph pass -- there's a sub thread in there thats about 4 pages long al about top speed. Now that I have at least 100 more hp (and countless more mods) in the ES since then, i think I can top out at 150-160mph, especially because of my headwork.

 

ill never go that fast ever again...it was damn scary - an es300 is pretty unstable going that fast, but i wanted to test my car, i guess now i shouldnt have done it - it seemed to take a while to get that fast

 

I hit 130... a bit too fast in a four door sedan... I think the ES is better for just crusing
