I'm in nj lol. Over here max for the front is 20 windshield is illegal and for the back you can do up to Limo tint. This is my sisters gx with 40 on the windshield and limo all around.

 

From what I read..no tint may be applied to front side windows in nj..

none on windshield allowed either.. been the law there for like 13 yrs...police just hasn't got u yet

 

My neighbor is a cop and he said my tints are fine soo. I'm safe.

 

I'm just saying according to the law..it's not. I'd hate to have an accident..and they saw the tint..do hat u want

 

I would never get the windshield done even if legal. My sisters gx is a different story.

 

I did Llumar "Air 80" on the windshield, extremely light tint and still gives the "99% UV" protection. Really wanted to protect the dash. It also reduces night glare from headlights and street lights. Otherwise I did 30% on all the remaining windows. Technically it's all illegal by Oregon law but it's not blatant so hopefully I'll never have an issue

​​​​​​$450 for Llumars' best installed but totally worth every penny, the ES screams, "Tint me!!" I've never tinted or had any desire to tint any other car I've ever owned until I owned the ES, maybe it just has lots of glass...

 

With unusually warm weather, got my spoiler put on.. i used the tape plus studs...looks perfect...

 

Been done for a couple weeks now. I love it!
