ES300h and ES350 are the same car I believe, just a different engine. Maybe someone can chime in on whether it will fit or not.

My question is, if this simple mod helps as much as they advertise for about $100, why dont cars come with this stock? Does it wear out the suspension quicker or something?

A lot of cars come stock with one installed or as an option. The ES series does not fit in the same category (Mustang GT etc.). The ES is designed for a smooth and quiet ride. It is really only noticeable if you modify your car for more aggressive handling characteristics (stiffer spring rate, lower profile tires etc.).

It would be a better fit on the IS or GS line. One thing to remember, when you stiffen one area the stress or movement is then transferred to another, not eliminated. Automobile engineers have to take everything into account.
