Default Passenger Window

99 es300, just bought for my son, 109Kmiles, runs great. The Passenger window will not operate up or down with the door switches (driver nor passenger) but if you put the key in the door and hold left or right the window works up and down. What's the problem and how do I fix>

Make sure the "child-proof" button isn't depressed. It is the small button next to driver's side lock button. That will lock out all windows except driver's side.
or if you just disconnected or replaced the battery;
The power windows may not operate automatically and the jam protection function will not function correctly after you reconnect, replace or recharge the battery. At this time, the indicator lights of the switches will flash. In any of these cases, you should normalize the power windows

1. Push down the power window switches of each door and lower the windows halfway.

2. Pull the switches until the windows close and hold the switches for a second.

The moon roof may not operate automaticlly and the jam protection functon will not function correctly after you reconnect, replace or recharge the battery. In any of these cases, you should normalize the moon roof.

To normalize the moon roof, push and hold the switch on the "TILT UP" side until the moon roof tilts all the way up and then tilts down a little automatically
