Default Turn Signal two different speeds?

I picked up a right side taillight from a local salvage yard and everything's a good match, but turn signal speed. In my original turn signal on the left side, the flash speed is about twice the speed of the one I got for the right side. It came out of the same year car and model car, so what gives? Can I adjust this somewhere? Is it the bulb? I would appreciate any help with this matter.

Assuming the wiring and bulb contacts are good, than It's the bulb. Make sure that you get the specified bulb, and that both front bulbs are identical.

If you don't have any extra bulbs, switch sides and see if the speed different follows.

You will get hyperflash if a bulb is out or drawing less than 25w.

Oh, so the failing bulb is the rapid flashing one? Good to know. That will save me some time. Thanks for all of the replies!

Yeah, the front or rear bulb of either side being out/drawing low current will cause that entire side to hyperflash.

So, all of the bulbs are lit, so I'll just have to test them one at a time....but not today in 19 degree weather.
