Hey all two things I have noticed with my 2001 es300. Anytime I hit auto or turn fan up a/c light always comes on. Even if my heat is set to hot. Any way to change this??

Also my off doesn't light up at night. Is that just a bad bulb??

Is this common. Is there a bottom code to change this I've looked in the book and online found nothing

This doesn't happen on my car except for a specific combination of settings, forget exactly which. If I disconnect the battery then turn on the fan the A/C will be on but after I turn it off things go back to normal, a clue maybe in your case?

I haven't tried pulling the battery yet. Would like it fix d before winter for when I remote start the car ac isn't on.
