body kits
Thanks,

Wheels, headlights, and the stereo are far better places to spend your money.

I am running the 16" 5 spoke RSX wheels, these two are some of my favorite designs.

Check out this build thread by a TN user who added a lip kit to his Camry. He used a Subaru front lip I believe and it fit well:

Next I would upgrade the rims. If you're sizing up, the max I'd go is 18" to balance looks, comfort and tire price. If you're sticking with the 17's, newer OEM Toyota/Lexus rims are some excellent options, such as those from an Avalon or Camry SE.
I don't recommend lowering the car. If you do want a stiffer / sportier ride, you can take the strut and coil assembly from a 2004-2006 Camry SE V6.
As for a lip spoiler, you can get a small lip from eBay, like I did to my Lexus. I think it came out sweet:
Or you could use a Camry SE spoiler (I installed one on my old Camry, you will have to drill the trunk though):
Can't really help with exhaust mods, other than seeing what other Camry owners have done in terms of a new muffler. You could go all out and do some custom work to get a dual exhaust:

Remember, keep it clean, not too dressed up, as the boy-racer look doesn't go well with the 4ES.

As for the exhaust, I contemplated it but then I actually got under the car and studied the stock unit. The stock unit is so well built and engineered that I just couldn't justify cutting it up. Maybe an intake will give you the sound you are looking for without having to do anything permanent.
This link has some ideas to go off of
