How's it going everyone. I'm new to this forum. I tried searching around but couldn't really find my answer. I'm looking to replace my interior light bulbs in my 1998 lexus es300 with LED lights I want to replace(Vanity bulbs, Personal light, both door lights, the dome light and trunk light) But my problem is I don't know which bulbs they are. I know for the trunk light its a 194 bulb. Do I just get a 194 LED bulb? Any replies will help thanks in advance.

I recommend V-LED's or one of CL's sponsored vendors. I would avoid eBay and other cheaply made LED's.

Your options are limitless, you can change every light on the car to LED if you wish. Let me know if you have any questions on the install. On the lighting subforum you can get some ideas on what color/type of LED you'd prefer!

Thanks alot for the info! One question I have is what bulb is the one for the shifter? It was listed on that website you linked me.

 

For my 96' es300 i have a automatic and the shifter in the center console does not actually have any lights in it.
as for the dashboard you will be looking at #74 LED bulbs
This post will help you so much with installing LED bulbs in your instrument cluster.

For the Dome light (in the center) it is a DE3175 LED bulb.
The Doors are 194 LED bulbs for the footwells when opening the door. (same as license plate lamp, definitely suggest upgrading those to LED.)


I purchased my LEDs' on Amazon.com and the result is amazing.
I will be buying some more shortly to finish the rest of my car.

Also, if you have not already ordered the Dome light LED DE3175 or 3175 you only need 1 and there is not other place on the rest of the vehicle that requires that bulb type.
I got a set of 2 for around $8 and would be more than happy to send you the extra I have.
