Default ABS rear wheel sensor

My ABS, Trac off, VSC and Brake lights came on the other day, took it to the mechanic who told me that I need to replace my right rear wheel sensor. They were quoting 170 for parts and 80 for labor but figured I could find a cheaper part online.

Rock auto has one for $70 and one for $100.. can't really tell the difference, but it seems to be just a small part. The mechanic specifically told me that the part should come with a very long wire.. so am I looking at the wrong parts? Or do i just need this thing (below) and the current 'long wire' can be used with this part?

Thanks

If your capable, you can try to remove it and clean it. Sometimes accumulated dirt prevents its proper function.

Thanks. What you suggested is what I found online, however it doesnt seem to include the "long cord" that the mechanic mentioned - is that ok? Is the "long cord" something that usually doesnt need to be replaced?
