2014 ES350 Design
Hi all,
I am curious if anybody has a 2014 ES350 that they owned through the '13', '14' winter.
The reason I ask is because with the design of the doors, windows, or more specifically the door seals, water gets inside the door jams and I'm curious if that water freezes in the winter and the doors stick.
To me, it's such a ****ty design. When it is wet out, and I open the driver's door after driving, water drips on my arm, leg & the seat. Surely I can't be the only one experiencing this.
Perhaps this phenomenon is on the '13' model as well.
Thanks,
bgg

I have a '14 ES and I live in South Florida. It rains here quite a lot and everytime I step out of the car I get wet and so does my seat etc.. Of course I mean that when I get out it's no longer raining and it's just water hanging out on the car after the rain. It is pretty annoying but I would think this is normal.
Well I have a '13 and live in Pennsylvania. Our weather is much like that in Massachusetts - maybe not quite as cold - and the car sits outside all day and night. Snow, sleet, 2 degrees F. (last winter) and the doors have never frozen shut. Further, I cannot recall ever getting wet when opening the door after or during a rainstorm other than the rain falling from the sky. IMO I think that this car is very well designed mechanically and aesthetically. I don't believe that there has been any change in design between the 2013 and the 2014...
