Hey guys. Occasionally, when I start my 07 I hear a loud zip noise that seems to be coming from the front of the car somewhere. I know it's kinda tough to pinpoint. Something running against the teeth of plastic gears comes to mind. Has anyone else experienced this?

I should also mention that it happens immediately after the engine has started, about the same time the self leveling headlights start to move.

 

Sounds like it could be the starter going. My 2002 ES300 made that type of noise b4 the starter went.

 

I'm not sure, but I don't think its the starter because it happens immediately after the engine has started.
