i havee a 07 es350 and i have the latest map update that im aware of and i don't seem to have any trouble with mine
what map are you using and do you have new roads recent in the past few years in your area or where you travel ?
perhaps your running on a outdated map
I had a 2010 ES350 with the same HD nav that's in the 2011 and other than a strange hiccup now and then it worked well. Those episodes were rare though.
I have a 2011, and I've been happy with the nav so far. Once i think it said I had arrived at my destination shortly before I actually did, but I assume that is just one of the hiccups that happens because GPS isn't entirely accurate.

Not using new roads. I always mapquest so I don't get screwed by the misinformation. For example, I'm driving on I-90, but the system keeps referring to I-190. Very annoying and
frustrating! I-190 is not my route, but I-190 is to the left or to the right. Why??

I noticed the navigation on my 2011 is slow to react in changes of driving direction to find an address. If you turn the wrong way, it does not compensate as fast as the Lincoln or Cadillac system in their '13 XTS and MKT models. I am a chauffeur and use those systems all of the time. I drove to one of my clients homes with the Lexus to show my wife this upscale home on a private lane. I has to wait for the Lexus to update my current location and program the new turns needed to arrive at my destination. My 4 year old Tom Tom is faster too.

I have read the Navigation Manual, but find it confusing. Any chance there is a way to
physically adjust the route so it reflects the route from Google or mapquest? Thanks!

Anyone have a response to this question, feedback appreciated

I don't think so. To my knowledge the nav in the ES can't interface with Google or MQ.
