P.S. If your Lexus gets totaled and you decide to part it out. Can I get dibs on your wheels?

Any Police report? If the other driver was sighted for distracted, reckless or careless driving you can take her insurance to court and they will bend over backwards to settle you out of court. No fault law or not. If she will admit to looking at her cell phone when she hit you that is all you need. Seriously you need to call a lawyer! The fact that she said she hit you because she was looking at her phone is admitting fault and even in a no fault state she is responsible. No fault only works if you say nothing at all to the other driver.

There was a police report, she admitted to the police as well. I emailed a lawyer and hopefully he respond back asap.

Most lawyers will take the case because car accidents are pretty much guaranteed money for them and their clients. Hopefully everything works out for you

I am only entitled to $1,000 damn. I'm going to miss that car served me for 5 years without any probably besides typical break pad replacement and oil change. I can't cry over spoil milk either only thing I have right now is rage against my co worker for destroying such a beautiful and reliable car. I will buy another Lexus in the feature but right now I am going to buy a Honda Accord

I guess I'm just confused, but it should be her insurance covering your car since she hit you and the police report states as much. Basic insurance cover is to cover OTHER vehicles, not your own. I can't see any way that a state would pass a law that would have drivers running around with insurance that wont cover damage cause by said driver to other people. That would lead to a massive amount of civil lawsuits from people suing each other over every single accident. Something is not right here.

I think Michigan is the only true no fault law state. We can sue the other party but only up to 1,000. This isn't fair for a college student like me because I can't afford full coverage since I have so many bills to pay. It's a frikking joke.

So I guys I need your help.

I found a REALLY REALLY nice ES300

Year: 2000
Mileage: 123,048 miles
Price: $5995
Carfax Clean Title No Accident

I also fell in love with this IS300

Year: 2001
Mileage: 147,940
Price: $6,956
Carfax Clean Title No Accident

I love the color white and the interior of the ES300, LOOKS SO AMAZING. I checked out the IS300 and I fell in love with the back, it looks so sexy. The ES300 will be better in the snow because I live in Michigan but I heard IS300 will perform okay with winter tires (hopefully all seasonal tires). I am 22 years old and have no kids so space doesn't matter to me only thing I bring around is my bike (have a trunk bike rack).

I was T-boned at an intersection 2 months ago by a woman who was texting. Right through the red light, and poof, my SC300 was gone, totalled.

I wanted to murder her but, that would have been inapprorpriate. Good think I was not on the Triumph or I would be toast.

I would go with the IS. More aftermarket mods if you plan to go that route. They handle well in the snow just make sure you have good tires. I drove my turbo is during winter months with no problems.

I like the ES, very clean car with the right equipment. The IS is pretty tight and not all as comfy or usable as the ES//
