Default Check engine and VSC

Both the check engine and the VSC lights came on today, I will have it scanned tomorrow, it's a little low on oil but in the safe zone. Anyone have warnings or things I should or shouldn't do before tomorrow?

Default More info

It was a full quart low of oil, the check engine, VSC and VSC Off lights are all on. Fuel cap wasn't tight to click.

Oh, it's a 99 ES300

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Jerry

The oil has nothing to do with it. It's possible the fuel cap being loose could be the issue. It only performs that test under specific circumstances so it could take a week or so before it turns the light off if that's the case. I'd take it to Autozone or one of those places, they typically will pull codes free of charge. If it has anything to do with the evaporative emissions system (codes p0440-p0445) then it is likely the loose fuel cap was the issue.

Default Thanks!

That is crazy that a fuel cap can send the mind into such a worry! Tightened cap then today added fuel lights went out.
I do appreciate your help!
