Anybody?

I'm referring to the rubber hose between the Air filter and the throttle body.

Where are you looking?

When I looked, the Sewell catalog lists it at $77 for just the hose, and 111.80 for the entire assembly.

I believe they kept the 3VZ-FE as the V6 in the Camry for some time after they swapped the 1MZ into the ES in 93. I believe the change over for the Camry happened in 95, so I'd say it's a toss up. If it's a 1MZ in the 95 Camry then the hose should be the same, it is after all, just a hose.

Even if you have no experience with engines it isn't hard to tell the difference. The 3VZ air cleaner hose runs as one big hose to a single throttle body; the 1MZ hose splits and runs to two smaller throttle bodies.
hope that helps.

Edit: also, the link you posted shows a picture of the 3VZ-FE hose. Not sure if you were aware of that or not.

The hose in the link I posted is exactly like the one in my car, are you possibly getting your iterations of the 1mz motor mixed up?

The 3z was only used in North American market Camrys and the ES300 in the 92-93 model years (the exception is the Australia and NZ markets). the 1MZ came into the NA market on both models in the same year.

Just checked and you're correct about the NA market, I suppose I was thinking about the Australian market when I made my post.

Also, I'm not going to say I'm 100% correct as I have a 3vz, but the link shows exactly what is in my car, including the AFM. I was under the impression that the 1MZ used a MAF sensor which is what leads me to believe that hose isn't for the 1MZ.

However, I just went over to rockauto and looked at a pic for the '95 hose and this is what I saw http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...252&cc=1387043
This hose also looks like the one from my '93 3VZ.

Best I could figure is that you could use the hose from 95' Camry or a 3VZ application. until I looked at the 3VZ hose from rockauto for a comparison and this is what I saw http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...252&cc=1387043
as you can tell the differences are slight but apparent when you have the two side by side for comparison. I was also mistaken about the throttle bodies, they didn't include the twin throttle bodies until '97, which was when they made a big change to the air hose.

Regardless, Air cleaner hose from a 1MZ Carmy of the same vintage should be the same.
