Default New member :) *updates with mods

Hey guys I'm new here but I've been on this site before checking out the forums and other peoples' cars.

So I've got a 2001 es300, 3rd gen I believe. I got it last summer but haven't really done anything to it since then. It was about 41-42k miles when I bought it and its really clean.

I'm also going to use this thread to update you guys with what I'm doing with my car so keep checking for updates. Im gonna be pretty much posting from my phone so i have to figure out how to post pictures and all. Thanks guys!

I was gonna post a whole bunch of angles of when I first got the car but I'm too lazy "/

Here's a side view of when I first got it

And here's the same angle but just tinted. 35% Just got it done this past saturday

And just a little something. FAKE. I was playing around with an app. This is what my next mod is, dropping my car. I probably won't go as low as this though if its even possible

Better to get some custom wheels before altering the suspension. No sense in ruining the ride while still rolling on some balloon-like stockers. Check out the upgrade garage at tirerack and the similar system at discounttiredirect to see what custom wheels would look like on your car.

Happy driving/modding/foruming.

And NICE find!
The modifications planning process and anticipation are SO fun. I don't envy the expenses ahead of you but none of us are in this hobby because it makes brilliant financial sense, right?

now for my droppings pics, did this maybe a little over 2 months ago

went with k-sports

installed

after shots

comparison shot

I dropped it 4 inches front and back. at first the front was actually lowered 3 inches by the strut, and 1 inch with the spring because me and my friends were lazy to take the whole thing off when it was still too high. but now we fixed that and it's 4 inches by the strut. plus using the spring makes the ride super stiff and bouncy. the ride isnt even bad now, like stock, if you turn the dampening down. but i prefer it stiffer. it still looks high because of the balloon tires lol. still trying to decide which rims i want. thats all for now folks.

oh but, my car made 50k about 2 weeks ago. its just over about 50,500 now
