Hi all, I have an 08 ES 350 that has condensation forming in the drivers side headlamp area. I brought it in for servicing and was told that it would cost $1,350 to replace the entire unit. It's out of warranty. Seems far too expensive. Anyone have any ideas or alternative thoughts?
Thanks, Jack
bake the headlamps so you can pull them apart and add new sealant. I forgot the temperatures since it's been a long time. Should be some youtube videos on resealing headlamps.

I had this happen once on my wife's 2006 GS300 AWD. I took the HID bulb out and used a hair dryer, took an hour or more of it blowing warm air into the assembly, but all the moisture dried up, I put the bulb back in and have never had the issue again. Perhaps the bulb was not sealed completely and allowed air into the housing.

First you posted in the wrong section. I had this issue as well, and I went through warranty. I got both replaced but it was a pain in the a$% to get done, a lot of back and forth to Lexus corp and to my dealership. I would try to get a goodwill repair if the warranty just went out, or try to contact Lexus corp and see what they can do.
