The car is a Lexus 2015 300h. I love the car other than this issue. Anyone know how to turn on the beep when a car is in close proximity to my car..(BSM)..at present, the light will light on the side mirrors. I can't believe you can not turn on a beep to warn you when another vehicle is close. Honda's beep. Thanks! Fred

 

Honda's will also lock the car when you leave without pressing any buttons or pads.
Lexi will not auto lock. The menu setting for Auto Lock time interval has to do with
anytime you remotely unlock the car, intentionally or accidentally, the car will relock
but only if you have Not opened any door. Example would be if you fumbled with the
fob and did not realize you had unlocked the car. 60 seconds (default) later the car
relocks. Often confused with an ability to lock when you depart as with a Honda.

 

Lexus will auto lock. It’s market specific. E.g Australia market have this disabled.
