I'm going to test drive a 300h tomorrow morning. I might start negotiating the purchase. Any chance of getting a deal below MSRP in Texas?

Thought that I chime in as well. Picked up my 2013 last month. MSRP was $43,702. I traded in my 2007ES (59,000 miles) and was offered $16,500 (Kelly Bluebook suggested $15,000). The dealer also extended a $1,300 discount. This was the best deal that I could get from one of three dealers that I solicited.

Got this price at one dealer but decided to give my hometown dealer a chance to meet it. To my surprise they did. All negotiation was done by email and phone, in person they have the home field advantage.

Financed at local credit union, 2.5%.

New to this board but not new to Lexus (we have a 2007 IS 250) - just purchased a 2013 ES 300h from a great dealer (best buying experience I ever had). The MSRP was $46,200 (rounded off) and we got the car for $43,500 plus $80 doc fee (and, of course, taxes and tags). Straight cash purchase - no trade in. Silver with fray interior - love it thus far!

I live on the Central Coast of California - about an hour north of Santa Barbara.

Since our MSRP was more and we paid $1,200 less than you - you are indicating that we got our car at least $1,000 below invoice - AND I do not think that was the case.
